Incredible book. Could not put it down. The matter-of-fact writing style really keeps the tension going.

Incredible. Absolutely incredible. Not just the story itself but the writing and research and depth of understanding of the men who miraculously survived the expedition. A portrait of leadership if there ever was one. Un-put-downable.

An extremely well documented account that reads like Jules Verne. I do wish more time had been spent at the end on the aftermath of the exhibition though.
