To be honest, I didn’t like the start, I felt Patroclus was written too weak, timid and scared. Achilles was obviously arrogant but there were times I really disliked him.
But this book was written so beautifully, it was paced well and such a page turner!
The end had me in tears, even knowing what was to happen but my god that last chapter. The relationship between Patroclus and Achilles, their love and the redemption of sorts with Thetis, ah my heart.
I need a lighter read after this one..
