This was my favorite one of the whole series! Jack and Alan are such compelling characters so I was super excited to find out this volume was about them (and included the rest of our beloved cast of characters!!) Loved the end, loved the characters, had good fun reading! Fair warning: this couple leans into consensual no consent HEAVILY so if that’s not your thing then at least skip those scenes. It’s well negotiated and explicitly consenting but a bit different from the scenes written for previous couples.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of book 2 in this series, but this one was sooo good !! It was really nice seeing everyone in the same book, and I really like Alan so I was happy to have more content of him ! The smutty bits were, honestly, a bit much lol but I still really enjoyed it & I love their romance ⭐️ it was also nice to have a book that wasn’t centred around a murder/ murder mystery - it felt like everything came full circle and it was very cool

If I had stopped reading after “A Restless Truth” I probably wouldn’t have felt melancholic at the story having ended, but I for sure do now.  This book tied up all the loose strings so well plus you get to see such a different side to Lord Hawthorn.
The romance is so sweet, I loved all the small details and the honest and tender-hearted love that the characters have for each other.
Well-written and great. This book is honestly just a perfect way to end “The Last Binding” series, though preferably it would never end.

Dare I say... This might be my favorite of the trilogy. I am such a sucker for enemies to lovers and this novel toes the line between hate and lust incredibly well. I loved having the whole gang together for the finale and I'm thrilled Marske rounded out this trilogy with such a strong ending. I immediately went hunting for more of her work and was devastated that this was it. I'll be watching for more from her for sure.

I thought this was so much fun. Dare I say, out of all this series' pairings, I think Jack and Alan might be the dynamic that I enjoyed reading the most - such enjoyable friction.
