There is nothing wrong with this book. It is a great companion read to the series if you want more Gentleman Jack or to learn about the diary entries behind each episode. Although an interesting read, I didn’t learn any new information about Anne Lister. It was lacking as a biography it you’re looking for more information after watching the series. I also would have liked to learn more about the diaries themselves and the code Anne used.
