We watched the HBO series and I wanted to know more about Anne Lister. I loved her intellectual curiosity and boundless energy. She was definitely ahead of her time. Great book!

I don't read a lot of non-fiction, but this sounded interesting. But I made the mistake of trying this back to back with another non-fiction read, and my brain wasn't having it. I kept spacing out. I will probably come back to this later, but my brain needs its silly little romances for a minute first.
