Once again, I am sat with tears streaming down my cheeks in awe! The final paragraph of that epilogue has given me such an uncontainable thrill! Ahhh! I wonder what's next!
Wayne and Steris are my two favorites from this trilogy, I truly adore them endlessly.

I love the way the relationship between Waxillium and Steris developed and how they were just so much fun together. Still Wayne is still a great character.

Things are both improved and disimproved. Wax solves some mysteries and fails to solve some and dies (but not permanently) and discovers more about himself and his world.

Can you beat them on your own? Marasi half whispered, half mouthed at Wayne.
He grinned and mouthed back, Does a guy wif no hands got itchy balls? He grabbed the side of the grave and hauled himself out. The mists above froze a moment later as Marasi was caught in a speed bubble-Wayne, putting one up and trapping half the men nearby in it with him.

Now see, I could have chosen a deeper, more philosophical paragraph from the book. However, what's the fun in that when there's this gem?

As with the rest of the Mistborn books, I really enjoyed this book (maybe even a bit more than [book:Shadows of Self|16065004] to be honest). I found myself smiling quite a lot while reading due to the banter between the characters (the above quote is a perfect example yes my humour is terrible, I know). Another aspect I quite liked, was that I feel like I've gotten a bit of a better grasp on what the Cosmere actually is. There aren't any outright descriptions, but I feel the hints help. I'm also in love with Steris' character development. Boy, has she become a treat to read about!

My only complaint is that some parts were somewhat slow to get through. But it's not too bad or difficult to overcome in the end.
