I guess an equally emotionally damaging chapter and a thrilling and exciting one?
Maki girl boss, Toji unhinged and Sukuna free trial? That was a fire volume.
STILL MEGUMI RECOGNIZED HIS DADDY RIGHT??? RIGHT???? RIGHT?????

this volume was a bit messy. the fights weren't very captivating and lacked the intensity found in previous volumes. i'm not sure how i feel about toji's return; overall, he's just devoid of depth and intrigue. while there might be more to him beneath the surface, i'm not particularly curious to uncover it. i also find sukuna's return uninteresting because- exactly how many overpowered characters are in this series? they fall flat, defined solely by their abilities. i'm still enjoying the manga and hopefully the next volumes prove to be better but this one was somewhat disappointing.
