Really solid. I loved at least half of this collection. Bone, Battle, A Test, Who was doing what and where, and Quirk stand out the most for me.

I haven't been the greatest fan of poetry collections. It's not something I would reach out for when I want to read something. I must say I enjoy discovering poems every now and then  and that's one of the reason I've tried reading this book in the first place because I saw one of the pieces on BookTok and I just got curious.

At times there would be collections that would barely resonate with you which I think why I barely read such books but Bone mostly hit the right spot. As I go through most pages, I'd randomly think to myself how Yrsa found the perfect words to certain feelings I used to not be able to explain.

Overall, this has shown both the artistry and rawness of poetry. I can't wait to get my hands on a physical copy of the book.

I did not like this book.

The shorter poems were - at best - a slightly better version of something rupi kaur would have written; that is, they were entirely generic and lackluster. (Genuinely, kaur's popularity stupefies me.)

The longer poems were rambling messes of nonsense. Daley-Ward dealt with abstractions... in abstractions. In fact, the (very few) lines that contained concrete imagery are the reason I'm not giving this book a worse rating.

The book failed to hook me in. I do not think it is worth anyone's time.

wow. I truly don't know what to say about this book.
I'm not sure if I'll leave my 2.75/5 rating or if I'll change it.
it's not a bad book. I know that. I think it's beautifully written and so deep and complex. it's really emotional and I'm sure it might be really touching for the right people.
I'm not the right audience. I could resonate with and I even loved some of the poems, but it was honestly the minority of them. I wasn't able to actually understand most of this, and that's awful. because I really wanted to.
for people who can actually relate and understand this poems, I easily see this being a 5star reading.
