I first met this book in elementary school at my best friend's house. She lived with her cousins and Aunt and Uncle. Her Aunt (Judy) used to read this book to us every year the day before school started. In High School, I performed it for Debate class (our class was debate, but also performance of poems, monologues, etc.)

This is a great book!

I love this book! My kids are now old enough to enjoy it and it is one of our favorites! The premise is hilarious, as we have all had those days where nothing seems to go right!

I remember vividly reading this book and I know that I randomly selected it either in the library or in my classroom. When I was in Elementary school, most of my teachers had a shelf of used books so that way if we ever had time to actually read or my teachers needed to grade assignments, we did not have an excuse that we did not have a book in our hands. I remember I selected this one without knowing what it was about and I really enjoyed the storyline.

I found Alexander to be very annoying and a brat but I felt as though I could either relate to him or seen it happen to other students and my friends. I was going to rate it a long time ago when I signed up with goodreads but I did not remember vividly the details of the book so I quickly checked it out now from the library and I am glad that I got to relive a little of my past childhood. It was short, cute, and sweet and find it to be a true classic when it comes to Children Literature. Out of all Judith Viorst's Alexander books, this is by far my favorite and I feel as though it resonates with countless children around the world.

Recuerdo que desde que leí este libro (hace muchos años), Australia se unió a mi lista de lugares que quiero visitar, y sigue siendo así.

This is a really good book. It's been around for ages. I remember having it read to me when I was a child. This book resonates with me because it's very important for everyone to know, even early on, that some days are bad days even on the other side of the world.

Alexander just can't catch a break. Not matter what he does, he day just seems to keep getting worse. Will Alexander's day get better, or will his entire day be terrible, horrible, no good, very bad?
