Read on my second flight from Dubai to Tokyo loved it!

Update:
Right so I read this on my 9 hour flight from Dubai to Tokyo in preparation for my holibobs.
Loved the book, it was really whitty and I definitely read it in Chris' voice.
Reading about videos I'd previously watched was kind of trippy but it was great having the back ground of them.
Also the tips and tricks dotted around the book were really useful!

My fiancé and I managed to go to the Lost Bar whilst on our travels and had an incredible experience! not only were the vibes incredible, the drinks were really good price and tasted amazing.
Shows the types of people Chris attracts in his videos and book, we got chatting to a few lovely people in the line to get in and chatted later on with as well, all had read the book (pretty sure)
So if you've read this book and are planning a trip to Japan I can't recommend Lost enough ❤

What a fascinating view of Japan!! Chris Broad writes like a younger generation's Bill Bryson, collecting special moments and insights alongside gripes and humorous complaints. I learned a lot about Japan's food, culture, and the character of individual cities. At times, this book feels more like a memoir than a reflection of life in Japan, but maybe that's what it was supposed to be in the first place.

I enjoyed this book a whole heap when I read it back in 2023, and enjoyed the audiobook throughly this time around too, largely because Chris reads this as if he's narrating an extended episode of Abroad in Japan
