It's not often I get an emotional response from reading a book (that's an outright lie lmao I cry at everything) but this book was so insightful and entertaining.

Me and my friend John watch Abroad in Japan like a weekly TV show, late nights seeing the adventures of Chris, Natsuki and Ryotaro. Good few of our inside jokes are from the videos and there is no end to the enjoyment we get from them. When deciding a book to read to get back into reading, John picked this book and really enjoyed it, found it hilarious and inspiring. I said I'd give it a read after him and was glad to have done so.
Seeing Chris' journey and the struggles he went through and overcame and all the fun stories he's collected on the way was really enjoyable to read and helped keep me motivated during a tough exam period. With classic British Chris humour and appearances from memorable faces I'd like to thank Chris for writing this book and for making top quality videos that me and my friend will continue to enjoy!
