When buying this I didn’t realise this was a book by a YouTuber. I had happened to have watched a few of his videos back before my first visit to Japan in 2017 and then watched a few through lockdown when dreaming of going back. I just didn’t make the connection that it was the same person. 

I enjoyed the first half or so of this book a lot more than the second, the second picked up the pace and was more focussed on the YouTube aspects-not necessarily bad just not my cup of tea. 

There were a few tidbits in here which I didn’t know and I found pretty interesting, it’s definitely got me excited for my upcoming visit!
