I love a good memoir and this one was a great, lighthearted one. I enjoyed the honestly and humour and it even made me tear up a bit at points. But overall I wasn’t a huge fan of the writing style. It felt more like a podcast which makes sense as Abroad is a YouTuber. Reading this as an audiobook made the experience a lot better and his humour came across well.
