I enjoyed this book and the settings but found it rather rushed.
The characters are engaging and the plot moves along - maybe too quickly in some parts.
As usual Nora Roberts managed to capture the thoughts and feelings of the characters and there was some angst as well.
All in all an enjoyable read.

The main character Erin picks up her relatives from what seems to be America. This man Burke appears to be with them and she does not know who he is and neither do I as a first time reader into this novel which appears to be a series. Not good writing. Then, this woman is so annoyed by Burke when he looks at her. It is common sense that when someone stares at a woman that is naturally beautiful that is why. Instead, she reacts like a cranky bitch. Difficult to read.

Oh my!

When I was about eighteen, my parents had a yard sale and made me sell some of my books. I had thousands, and they were basically like, "It's time to pull the plug." I regret it so much now but I did sell a ton of books like my Sweet Valleys, my Babysitters Club, Nancy Drews, etc. What a mistake! I put aside a box of "NEVER SELL BOOKS" and my Dad accidentally put it up for sale. By the time I realized, they were half gone. It.Was.Awful.

This book was one of them!

I have been searching for it for ages and finally stumbled upon it here. Can't wait to order it from Biblio and re-read so I can give it a proper review! I remember thinking the woman on the cover was so glam and beautiful and I loved the story so much. YAY!!!

Anything Nora Roberts is a huge favorite for me! This is the sequel to Irish Thoroughbred that picks up with the cousin of the main character from the first book. Very fast, easy read!

I loved Erin & Burke! Erin, &  Burke definitely had communication issues. 99% of which was Burke’s fault. What else is new? 😂 This book had a bit of a multi-POV which I prefer.
