Despite being classified as children’s novel, this is a mystery book anyone can enjoy
Finally got around to reading this classic. This was a fun read with a ton of characters and twists. I will admit that the revelations happened just a little too quickly for me, but I'm also inexperienced in the mystery genre so perhaps I'm off base. I really enjoyed that while this is a children's book, Raskin never talks down to her audience. A story that can be enjoyed at any age.
Slow beginning, but as soon as they entered the mansion for a second time I could not put the book down.

I never read this as a kid so this was my first time reading it. I enjoyed it and the mystery was fun. My one complaint is it took me a while to get all the characters straight and I wish there had been a bit more characterization. And more detail in some of the explanations at the end. I liked to have things spelled out for me since I seem to miss things easily!

This didn't do much for me. I like a murder mystery or a book about a "game", but this is pretty dated and I'm bad with characters so it was hard to follow
