Hot Cop Alert!!!

Beckett is a badass. He’s super hot. He’s super dad. He’s super broody. He’s everything a girl can ask for in a book boyfriend. He’s DEFINITELY my favorite Falcon Falls story!!!

I think the angst with Gray, Sydney and Becket is completely unnecessary but still good book

Beckett has made a few prior appearances in this series and he has definitely been the grumpy small town sherif in most cases. I’ve been intrigued about the backstory of this grumpy single dad, and in this book we finally learn his story! Learning what he has been through will tug at your heartstrings and make you see him in a new light. His sexy swoony factor just jumped off the chart in my opinion.

Sydney is a bada$$ woman, a single mom who gets in on the action and ‘handles things’ equally as often and skillfully as her Falcon Falls Security teammates do. She and Beckett eyed each other at his sister Ella’s wedding to Jesse in the previous book which upped the anticipation for their book and oh does it deliver a blockbuster experience.

Sydney’s girls weekend in Taluum Mexico with her bestie, Mya, turns into a dangerous mission. Despite the danger, the sizzling chemistry between Sydney and Beckett blazes into a strong desire to be together.

As with all Brittney Sahin books, these characters are fantastic and because we’ve meet them as secondary characters in one or more books already, they feel like friends. I love continuing to see favorite characters and couples from prior books and what’s going on in the lives. The interconnections between books in the series and other series is wonderful, but the books are still written to be enjoyed as a standalone novel and not intimidate new readers from jumping in.

I loved this book so much, and as always I’m eager for the next book in the series. Brittney is one of my drop everything for authors, and she always delivers a great reading experience with great characters, intrigue and action, and sizzling romance.

I received a free ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

For the most part, I enjoyed this book. I thought it dragged on a bit at the beginning. Even with all of the action, it took me a while to get into it.

It felt like there were too many stories going on at one time. Beckett's story, Sydney's story, Mya's story, etc. Eventually they all came together, but at the beginning it was confusing trying to figure out what was happening.

I liked Beckett and Sydney together. Their chemistry was so intense. Lately, I haven't found many books where the two main characters have the level of intensity they had pretty much through the entire book.

This book waa full of danger, action, suspense, and drama. There was sexual tension between more than just Beckett and Sydney. I loved that Sydney was skilled, intelligent, independent, and tough. Yet, she was able to maintain her femininity and show her vulnerability to Beckett. I liked that Beckett wasn't all tough alpha guy. He was able to show Sydney his vulnerabilities.

I thought this was a 4 star read. It was enjoyable enough to make me find the books that involved the other characters and work my way through them.

OMG! Where was Beckett hiding this whole time? Who knew that loving caring father was such a dirty talker? We knew he had fire, we saw it when he was protecting his family, but Wow!

I love Sydney soo much! What a loving mother and friend she is! And her son, Levi? I love him so much too!

Their story just falls together in a way that's pure magic! From the start you are invested in their lives and can’t stop reading. The strength of the characters and the depth of them are amazing.
Beckett can’t stop himself from helping his daughter, McKenna’s, birth mother, even though she has disappointed him every time. But when things go really bad, he calls for help from his brother -in - laws, Jesse’s, team for help. Mystery, mob bosses, danger, suspense, and chemistry explode as he and the team find a way to help Jesse and McKenna’s mom escape.

I always sat, there is no way Brittney can write a better book then the last one she wrote, oh am I wrong every time! It’s no wonder she is a One-Click author for me, I am never disappointed with anything she writes, I’m usually blown away with her stories!
