I have really enjoyed this book and its fresh take on the origin story of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. And learning how the book came into being has made me even more fond of it.
I appreciate its fluid prose, the accuracy in the reproduction of the characters' minds and I loved the many literary references (beyond Doyle's ones, obviously), in particular the Coleridge one.
I do recommend it to both fans and casual readers.
