Short Modernist Book about an Lithuanian hotel worker in New York. He has deep, very artistic (in a mid-century post-structuralist male way) on writing, love, and more interestingly on Lithuania and it's history. Interesting exposition of ideas about nation and nationalism from the perspective of one who has left and is looking back.
