The ending. This ending. Spoilers for the ending of this book obviously...
The plot twist wasn't exactly revealed in a satisfying way and that's okay. What I despised about this ending was the way the serial rapist/abusive ex comes in and saves the day. He gets to rush in, play hero, and almost be portrayed as Geo's guardian angel. Besides the chapter immediately before where it's revealed he isn't into chopping up bodies (bare minimum, bro) the last time we saw this guy he was sexually assaulting the protagonist. Now he is saving the 'damsel in distress'? Besides some other small frustrations, I really liked this story, but that angered me so much, the way Calvin ALMOST seemed redeemable at the end.

Nothing could have prepared me for the insane plot twists. At no point in this book could I predict what would happen next. I both loved these characters (esp. Kaiser) and despised them (Geo.) this was one of the cleverest books I have read in a while. Loved.
