Mind blown! 🤯 This book kept me on my toes the whole way through. How is it not talked about more?!

Cat was so sweet and I’m sad she died in prison… I wanted more for her. More for her & Geos friendship.

Calvin & Geo and both love-hate characters! 
Calvin was a killer & rape-est no doubt… but I think he truly loved Geo and would have protected her at all costs which makes me have a soft spot for him. I never would have been able to shoot him in the end. My heart wouldn’t have allowed it.
Geo was smart & likelable. She had been through traumatic experiences & she recovered to the best of her ability! Strength & resilience shining through. She also loved Dominic enough to bury him after all that he did. I don’t know if I could have done that…. That may say more about her state of mind though too. The realizations at the end about her hand in Angela’s death… the gun shots… the ability again to move forward and start over. 😵‍💫 I… I never. She’s fucked in the head!

Kaiser- this guy… what a moron. “You see what you want to see” he didn’t learn anything the whole book. He’s so caught up in Geo that he can’t see what’s really happened. I hope it doesn’t bite him in the ass down the road. 


Is there a second book?!? I need more on where their future goes!

I rated Jar of Hearts by Jennifer Hillier 4 stars. I read this in 2 days and did enjoy it. It held my attention and I wanted to keep reading. I did predict a few of the twists from some of the book’s earlier foreshadowing, before they were fully/officially revealed. There was one twist I didn’t predict. I did feel the ending and the “family reunion” was a little rushed and would have been okay with it being a little longer to provide more to the story. Overall, I would recommend to those who like thrillers but would say check trigger warnings for the book first, as there are some graphic scenes.

it took me a while to come up with a rating just bc i was so flabbergasted from the ending lol but I definitely think the ending was a bit eh and could've been better! ending felt rushed. all I will say is Angela you deserved sm better 🫤
