Όταν ξεκινάς ένα βιβλίο γύρω στις 11 το βράδυ, έτσι για να αποκοιμηθείς και φτάνεις 2.30 η ώρα το πρωί να μην ξέρεις πώς να κοιμηθείς, τότε μάλλον το βιβλίο αξίζει.
Καταρχάς νόμιζα ότι είναι ρομάντζο. ΔΕΝ ΕΊΝΑΙ ΡΟΜΆΝΤΖΟ. Δηλαδή υπάρχει η υπέροχη σχέση μεταξύ των πρωταγωνιστών, ναι, αλλά δεν είναι αυτό το θέμα του βιβλίου. Το θέμα του είναι πολύ πιο βαρύ και πολύ πιθανό δύσκολο για πολλούς ανθρώπους. Αν το ήξερα πιθανότατα να μην το διάβαζα.
Πραγματικά δε μπορώ να πω κάτι που δε θα οδηγήσει σε σπόιλερ της υπόθεσης. Γενικά πάντως που δε διαβάζω μυστήρια/ αστυνομικά κλπ (ούτε βλέπω αντίστοιχες ταινίες/ σειρές ) γιατί λύνω την υπόθεση από πολύ νωρίς, να πω ότι εδώ μου πήρε πάνω απ'το μισό βιβλίο για να καταλάβω τι έγινε. Και ξαφνιάστηκα μέχρι και 20 σελίδες πριν το τέλος. Το πω βέβαια ότι το βιβλίο δεν είναι ούτε μυστήριο ούτε αστυνομικό αλλά έχει μια υπόθεση με πολλά ερωτήματα.
Έχει κλάμα. Το λέω γιατί εγώ βρέθηκα και μέσα σε λεωφορείο να ψάχνω χαρτομάντιλα...

It was hectic. It was a lot.
I always go into a Colleen Hoover book completely blind. I don't read the blurb.
I loved it. It was emotional, good twists, touched on sensitive topics quite well (though not flawlessly, I do have a few gripes).
How could you not fall in love with Dean Holder?!

I really enjoyed the complex relationship between Sky and Holder. They were complicated characters. Sky is 17 when she meets 18-year-old Holder. She’s been home schooled and not been allowed to have a cell phone, internet access, or even a TV. So, when the mother who adopted her when she was 5 finally relents and lets her go to public school for her senior year, Sky doesn’t have the same background as her classmates. The girls are awful to her, leaving notes that accuse her of being a whore—fun stuff like that. Nothing could be further from the truth. Until she meets Holder, she’s never felt anything for another a guy (or girl) and was worried there was something wrong with her.
This novel did not take me where I thought it was going to go. There is some sad stuff in here, but I appreciated Hoover’s talent as a writer and liked all the main characters.

I can't believe I waited too long to read this Damn Book , I Don't know what to say about it , it was just so much heart breaking for me it got me so emotional I guess I wont be able to find another bok that would make me feel all these kind of emotions through one book , like this was the best of the best of Colleen Hoover novels it went straight to the top.
Now let me Start this Review,
First when I started reading this book I thought it would be another Romantic Book , But No it turned out to be much more deep than I thought , you have to wait to reach at least 15 % of this book to get the intensity of it, but after this 15 % be sure that you won't be able to hold your emotions and tears back , and definitely you won't be able to put the book down , make sure to have a box of tissues next to you ready to be swept away by your tear. the Ending is just as intense as the whole book.
let me get to the characters, I dont know how to describe the characters without spoiling the whole meaning of the book, So i will write shortly about them make you discover their personalities like i did.
First I have My Favorite character which is Sky no my fav is Dean 'Holder' like I dont know their personalities are just so deep like every action they do it has a reason there is nothing just like this so if you noticed their action you need to think why , no matter what you wont be able to , cz Colleen will shock you with the reason, that what happened with me.
other thing SKY is just as brave and powerful and weak and all the emotion is in here.
for Holder he is just patient , brave , heart warming , strong , so much weak that he appears to be strong as ever.
there mixture makes you heart melt, they are just so good together like i dont know how to explain this chemistry between them it is just overwhelming so yeah.
tha main story and the point behind the book i cant say cz it will ruin it so i will keep it for you when you read .

I don‰Ûªt understand all of the hype about this book. I have read many Colleen Hoover books and this one completely turned me off to her writing. I found it disgusting, I couldn‰Ûªt connect with the characters or root for their love story at all. There wasn‰Ûªt a single thing I enjoyed about this book. I was gifted the whole series and I will not be continuing with it.
Oh yeah, a good one alright. The plot twists just kept coming.
Going into this, I really expect a nice, light read that I would enjoy but wouldn't leave much of an impression. What I got was the exact opposite. Hopeless is a book that explores difficult subjects like growing up, finding who you are, and trusting people enough to let them in. While it was light at parts and focused a lot on the romance between the two main characters, the story it tells runs much deeper.
Sky was an interesting character. She was very easy to relate to and I felt an instant connection to her. She was so strong and I really liked seeing the way she handled Dean and her past. It was heart breaking to delve into those memories but it gave us such a better understand of Sky. She did have her moments where I really just wanted to jump into the book and shake her but overall, she was a great character. Dean was really amazing, too. He was a sweet guy but at times could came off as mysterious and even scary when he was being so secretive. However, I thought he was the perfect fit for Sky once he opened up. They made a wonderful couple and I loved seeing them together. Learning more about his background and Sky's was so interesting and a twist I really hadn't expected.
The plot was phenomenal. Never once did it get boring. Even at parts where it wasn't necessarily action packed, it held my attention easily because of all of the things we were discovering and because of the relationship between Sky and Dean. It was such a layered plot. There was tons of different elements that all came together to create a masterfully written story.
I'm anxious to dive into the next book, Losing Hope, which I believe is the same story told by Dean's point of view. This was a wonderful book that left an impression on me after reading. I definitely won't be forgetting it anytime soon and I'll be exploring the other books Colleen Hoover has written!
