Hopeless

I actually didn’t see some of the events happening in this one! Ready to read the rest of the series!

When my brain stubbornly can’t decide on my next read, I like to grab something from Hoover’s backlist. Woman is prolific! And always cleanses the palate. While I sometimes cringe at her need to spell out already implied points (we’ve got it, #CoHo, move on and drop that page count a smidge), she always sets the hook fast. Flawed characters and an intense, twisty story. I zipped through this. Always immersive, always ultimately enjoyable.

This book was really good - the plot was unexpected and I love an over dramatic, young CoHo romance. It needs a trigger warning for SA; at some points it was hard to read but I do appreciate how she tied everything together. Kept me on my toes. I also learned this was her 3rd novel, so it was cool to read an early CoHo!

“sky, i NEED you to-“ STFU

It's bad, and you know why.

The endless slut-shaming, the hypocrisy, the ~reformed bad boy~, the insta-love that somehow makes years of trauma go away . . . you name it.

Incredible! As passionate and terrified the story got...I definetly enjoyed every bit of it. Is not to be considered for light reading...

It was good, but didn’t hook me enough to pick up the second book quickly

Why did I wait so long to read this?

Muuucho drama, pero con mucho amor y eso es lo bonito al final ❤️. Realmente me sorprendió, pues muchas cosas no las vi venir.
