this is easily her best book! Fell in love with the characters and was immediately drawn into the story.

this one passed by my timeline (is it called timeline here) and i know i rated it 5 stars the first time but i just came back to give it a lower rating because i know now what i didn't before. like CoHo has a lot of problematic situations in her books that are not well-executed. the writing was rly gripping though to say the least hence the 2 stars.

This book has a lot of dark twists and turns. I feel it needs a disclaimer regarding child sexual abuse as it could be triggering for some. It’s very well written as all Hoover books are. About 1/3-1/2 way into it, I was reading obsessively to find out the ending which I didn’t see coming. Would definitely recommend
