Such an intense read and so much happens throughout this book! It took me a couple of chapters to get into this book but once the storyline took off with Holder & Sky I loved it!
blech. this book was nothing but hunting at the potential for sex and violence against high school students. are they really going to make a movie from THIS?

This was definitely written for an older teen audience - I would’ve loved it at age 17 or so, but as a 30- something, I had a hard time getting over the behavior of the characters. I can see how it would be a book some people like, but it wasn’t my thing. The characters aren’t terribly believable, and although topics in the book were emotional and serious, the way they were handled missed the mark. Clearly it didn’t stop me from finishing the book, mostly out of curiosity, so there’s that.
