I HATED the start it was awful felt like I was playing episode with no gems. Definitely gave shitty Netflix series, she was low-key stupid and he was low-key annoying but still hot.
But oh my god the amount of times my jaw just dropped and I started at the wall for minutes straight was insane. I actually didn’t expect the plot twists which made it a lot more exciting I finished this book in 2 days because i couldn’t put it down even though the start was trashy it was so addicting. LOVED THE MALE LEAD UGHHHH. Weirdly they almost felt a little too obsessed with eachother which I have never imagined myself saying but like they would have the most traumatising experiences and then be like groping each other and if I had a cent for every time they kissed BILLIONAIRE, and I say that as someone who is obsessed with all of the lovey dovey stuff but they just needed to take a chill pill and get mad at each other for once, like me personally I don’t think fuvking eachother brains out is the appropriate step to take after watching your father shoot him self along with all this other crazy situations. However there conversations towards the end felt like the author was just trying to summarise it herself it did not feel like feelings it felt like I was reading informative text. But I will in fact not be reading the sequel because I like the ending and don’t want anymore problems. Still shocked me and was so enjoyable to read and I’m going to miss reading it x

Nothing that I haven't read before. Its the same Chic Lit / Contemporary formula.

I highly recommend!!! A romance novel at it's best. Some things I liked about this book:

1. In-depth story/characters and well written (a rarity these days in this genre).
2. Some mildly hot scenes but toe curling romance with breathtaking words/language.
3. A likable heroine. Sky was not annoying as sometimes heroines can get.
4. A very lovable hero. Dean even gave me butterflies in my stomach.
5. Character development progressed quite a bit in this first book.
6. I love the double entendre and word plays Hoover uses in this book.

The story continues because there is so much more to sort out however, I appreciate authors who give the reader at least a finished feeling. Hoover, graciously accomplished this but still eagerly waiting for the next book to come out.

So gut-wrenching and beautiful....and real! CoHo never ceases to amaze me. I cried, I got angry and even had my jaw drop. So raw and beautifully written. Dark, but amazing. I live this book! (Those that read it will understand why I said live & not love)

Buen plotwist.

My ratings are indicative of whether I was drawn into a book. I stayed up late reading this book and finished it in less than 24 hours. I could not wait to get back to the story and the characters throughout the day as I was able. Now, onto the next book.
