Wow, just wow. What a beautiful story. There are already so many great reviews for this book so here are just some quotes that made me sigh.

Sky definitely had some issues to work through but Holder was so great with her.

Wow. Just wow. Read in one day. Excellent writing. Sky’s and Dean’s story is a heartbreaker but amazing. It reminds you it can always be worse. Love CoHo and love this book!

This book is a mix of everything! If you haven’t read it yet go buy it asap!

Just don't really like CoHo's books. Overhyped.

I am going to have a book hangover after this one.

I went into this book blind, but it’s queen CoHo so I figured how could I go wrong?! I am normally really good at guessing either the twist, or the end of books by about 1/3 of the way in, but could not predict the twists in this one.

Sky remembers nothing before her mom adopted her at the age of 5. The two of them have lived a very simple life together. Sky convinces her mom to stop homeschooling her and allow her to go to public school for her senior year of high school, where she meets the mysterious Holder. The two cannot deny that they are insanely drawn to each other, but Holder is full of secrets and a troubled past. Can they withstand the fallout when their worlds collide?

The twists just kept coming in this book. It is full of heavy content, but I could not put it down. Holder was troubled but also wise beyond his years. As the pieces started to fall into place my mind was blown.

This is definitely another underrated book by CoHo.

Did anyone else think this book started off fan-fucking-tastic and then kind of lost it's luster halfway through? I'm probably in the minority when I say this but that's how I felt.

This book started off so strong for me - I was literally smiling to myself like the nerdy girl reader that I am.

I'm pretty sure I looked like this:

And with lines like this, how could you not be amused?
Despite what this may look like, I am not a slut. Unless of course, the definition of slut is based on the fact that I make out with lots of people, regardless of my lack of attraction for them. In that case, one might have grounds for debate.

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's crying. Not because it makes me emotional, but because it annoys the hell out of me. And it's awkward.

I seriously thought people only acted this way in books, but I'm witnessing first hand that idiots actually exist.

Seriously, this was the most amused I've been while reading a book in a while and I read...a lot.

Then at about the halfway point, the book got real real fast.

And I'm pretty sure I started to look like this:

There was a somewhat unexpected twist and things started to get really emotional. Part of the reason why I loved the book at the beginning was because of Sky's snarkiness and her I-don't-give-a-shit attitude. Once we reach the pivotal point, snarky Sky goes away and we're left with an emotional Sky. I get it - Sky has some major issues to deal with. And I think Colleen did a fantastic job in portraying this. All the emotions came across on the page - it didn't feel forced or contrived. But I'm not going to lie, the reason I picked up the book was because of the pre-Holder version of Sky. I liked that she was stand-offish to guys and had an attitude. I do realize that this version of Sky wasn't exactly healthy mentally/emotionally but I still liked her nonetheless.

That aside, I flew through this book and am happy that Sky and Holder got their HEA.

Also, there were some awesome secondary characters in this book. Six and Breckin were both kick ass - I'd love to have them as my very best friends ever in the whole wide world.

Some of my favorite Six quotes:
"I'm not even out the door yet and you've already replaced me? Vicious. And for the record, I don't have an inability to say no to guys. I have an inability to grasp the moral ramifications of premarital sex. Lots and lots of premarital sex."

"Lust is the best of all the deadly sins."

Some of my favorite Breckin quotes:
"I'm not even going to tell you what I think about what just happened in there. But I know it sucked and I have no idea why you aren't crying right now, but I know your heart hurts, and maybe even your pride. So fuck school. We're going for ice cream."

"Open the damn present, Sky. I know you hate getting gifts, but I love giving them, so stop being a depressing bitch and open it and love it and hug me and thank me."

"I'm Breckin," he says. "I'm in an alliance to overtake the public school system and all its minions with your daughter."

If Colleen decided to write a book about Six or Breckin, I would snap it up in a heartbeat. They are definitely one of the main reasons why I liked this book so much.

All in all, I did enjoy this book - the first half seriously kicked ass and while it didn't grab me as much toward the end, I still couldn't wait to finish it.

I have my problems with this book. I liked it and the fast pacing was awesome. But there were just too much twists and too much drama. But i do ne regret reading it even if it was way too over-the-top. Here is my detailed review

I loved sky and holder's relationship but the plot twist was so random like are you really telling me she suddenly remembered everything???? yeah sure....
