this was...kind of better than i expected. after strongly disliking (hating) maybe someday and ugly love i expected to not be into colleen hoover books at all. but this at least strived to a depth by the end that made the irritating shallowness of the first half somewhat worthwhile. (somewhat.)

well, it would have if not for the fairytale levels of unrealistic plot points. so it strived for depth, but got a total lack of believability.

plus—and i have to say this—instalove.

I don’t write reviews normally but, I could not put this book down. The pages had a life of their own. Hoovers writing brought tears to my eyes. The empathy I felt for the main character made me question my self empathy. The advice and self growth sprinkled into the main character changed my inner self. I will definitely be reading more of this author for years to come. 100/10 would recommend to all my friends.

My first Coleen Hoover book and I really like her writing. The subtle hints of where the book was going kept me engaged and after 55% I was truly captivated with the story and finished it in one. It does have a lot of trigger warnings and covers several deep subjects.
I sometimes felt Holder seemed a little older than what he was but I guess the story explains why… I’m really glad he was there with Sky to help her through her journey, whilst going through his own. I’m excited to continue the series

Que hermoso, triste y fuerte ❤️‍

60% of the book is a 2 stars while the other 40% is a 3.5-4 stars. The first half of the book was okay, it got a little repetitive. The last half of the book really saved the book. The plot twist and the way everything ties in together was exceptional.

I really liked this book. The only reason I have it 3.5 stars instead of more, is because of the way it was written. These characters should've been in their twenties with the vocabulary they used. Especially the male character. Some of his lines were just too over the top and movie-like. The story line of the book was fantastic! I will definitely be reading the next book in the series.

ok but like six was useless as a character
