This book is dark, imo. The story had me hooked but there was major ick that made me very uncomfortable. I didn't expect one of the warnings to be so descriptive based on some of the other warnings and how those were handled. The resolution was good.

Prepare your heart before reading! This book tore me apart multiple times. 
How sad that no one realized that Rae was living out of her car for 2 years. And how did she not question if her brother would leave her anything; it was very clear he would leave her something and she never thought about it until Ezra asked her about it.
As emotionally hard as this book was to read, it was so worth it.
