so this was actually hands down the BEST BOOK IVE EVER READ IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. i was sold on it the second i found out it was a fake dating trope and i am being so honest when i say i don’t think i’ve ever read a book THIS FREAKING GOOD. first of all the writing style of this book was so beautiful and it had me hooked within the first like 5 pages of the book. second of all the characters. the goddamn characters. i honestly fell in love with both adam AND olive because they were both so perfect im actually so sad they don’t exist in real life. the story progression was also done at the absolute perfect pace and i could not put this book down, like at all. i fell asleep last 1:30 am on two nights because i was just hooked, speechless, and immersed. once you’re three quarters into the book i promise you it will be impossible to put it down because you just want to find out what happens next. i loved that they didn’t drag on any issues and make me wait for problems to be resolved (i’m impatient) and i just love the overall story of this book. it’s also a plus that these characters are smart as hell since they’re both scientists so the playful banter and witty remarks/humor is just on another level. if i could choose one book to make my life i would choose this one in a heart beat honestly. read this book right now. like drop what you’re doing and read this. now.

This book was adorable, perfect for getting out of a reading slump. It was pretty predictable, but I didn't exactly read a romance for the sophisticated plot. I loved the characters and also the science/academia setting of it all. I couldn't stop smiling while I listened to this audiobook.
