So good! Warning- there are several sexy scenes/dialogues, partly because the characters narrate romance novels. But, this is an awesome audio book! Julia Whelan has narrated so many great stories and this book showcases her range of voices. It’s a romance story that is cheesy and witty in all the best ways!
Julia Whelan is one of my favorite narrators, so I’m very happy I ended up liking her book! The plot twists went hard since I didn’t read the synopsis, and Julia Whelan’s narration enhanced the experience for sure.
I do think the book was too long, but overall I really enjoyed Thank You For Listening and found Swan’s acceptance near the end of the book a lot i more cathartic than I expected! I feel like Adaku was absolutely done wrong, but I really did love her character. Oh & all the banter between Swan & Brock was a highlight for me :)

Clever and funny and intelligent. Whelan has managed to take the genre beyond its typical boundaries. You won’t feel insulted after reading this can’t-put-it-down romance novel.
I especially enjoyed the autobiographical note, which clearly details fact from fiction. I am eager to read her other books!

fun and sweet and enjoyable but thought some of it was silly and overall didn’t feel memorable
This was a fun one! I really enjoyed the romance and their relationship. Their little cute moments literally made me cry. Swan was also a great main character and it was nice watching her development. The intimate moments were written in such a unique way, which made their moments feel infinitely more special. I did feel like the rest of the components of the story, for example, the other characters, were a little disjointed. The plot kept getting more complex and it got a little frustrating to read. Despite this, however, I could not put this book down and finished it in one day.
