this was such a fun audiobook to listen to! julia whelan is the queen of narration and I’ll listen to her read an instruction manual. I think as a physical book it would’ve been harder to read bc of the third person perspective
the beginning of the story is a bit slower, but it was such a great story line! it’s definitely not for everyone bc it goes into so many more deeper themes of regret, accepting yourself, complicated family dynamics, what you want out of life, and the list goes on. but she executes it all amazingly! it’s not your typical romance story
it’s wonderfully funny and I love the banter. it’s smart and clever. I literally found myself chuckling, hehe’ing and GASPING. it definitely made my long drives enjoyable

The PERFECT romcom. It had almost every trope, but every single one of them was SO well done. I laughed out loud and was also genuinely touched, which is the highest praise I can give. You have to listen to the audiobook, which Julia Whelan reads herself. No notes.
