Another major HIT for Julia Whelan, both author and narrator. She manages to push a “romance” book so much further than the standard in this genre. 
The characters are so real and fleshed out, the conflicts are believable and I LOVE that she doesn’t let what the reader would normally assume the major “conflict” to be, actually BE the conflict at all. She always goes just a bit deeper. She….. lets it open (wink!)

For narration, what could I possibly say. She is an absolute pro, in a category of her own. Her male voices are even better than most male narrators and this one had SO MANY variations and accents. As someone who listens to around 150+ audiobooks a year, I get pretty acquainted with a lot of narrators and she is just a class above. Not only that, but the material she works on is also usually a standout as well.
