I loved this book! The characters were lovable, the relationships were believable with a slow burn between the two lead characters. The dialog was witty and quick and extremely well written making the book flow so fast that before you know it is 1:00 am and you need to be up at 5:45 am

I will officially read/ listen to anything that Julia creates. I loved how the story revolves around a audiobook narrator, but I assume that the storyline is completely fictional and nothing like her real life haha. It’s safe to say that Julia will always have a fantastic and strong female lead who is so entertaining to read about (or listen). And of course the male leads are classics among classics, with their British accents, this time being Irish.
I forgot how emotional her books can be, but thankfully this one had a HEA and I wasn’t a complete mess like I was with My Oxford Year. I love how her stories don’t feel sugar coated and completely fictional. Gotta go find every book she has narrated cause WOW is she a skilled actress!

I read this book because I have been binging audiobooks read by Julia Whelan and I was intrigued that this one was also written by her! I enjoyed it. I loved the characters and thought the way everything came together was sweet. It was a tad predictable but honestly there was one piece of the puzzle I didn’t see coming. There’s some steamy sex but only really one scene. Most of it is just the stuff of life. But really…I can barely tell anymore what books I like and which ones I just like hearing her read! Lol! Such a good voice actor!

When I first heard about this book, the idea of it was so appealing and I soon bought it, didn't even think twice.
The audiobook industry seems very interesting, especially from a narrator's perspective, and both our main characters are romance narrators. She is actually sick of romance but needs the money, so she accepts a new book, and he is a well-known sexy voice, desired by every woman. Their narrators' names are fake so that no one knows who they are, not even between themselves.
One thing I really really enjoyed were the emails and messages exchanged between them. They were funny and cute. The rest of the story was ok. There is family drama, lots of personal luggage, and 'hope' for happily ever after.
It's a cute romance story if you're ever in the mood for it.
Feelings are temporary. They stick around as long as you believe in them, and then they're gone, waiting to be believed in again. If they were permanent, then we'd only have to say I love you once and be done with it for the rest of our lives.
