This collection is interesting and ahead of its time, and it has several moments of clever narrative revelation. It is undeniable a benchmark in the history of Western poetry. That being said, I only enjoyed a handful of these poems as poems rather than as narrative units making up the complete image that the book offers.

Interesting poems, never read anything like it before. It was highly engaging and entertaining. Not the best book ever though.

The cumulative effect of the poems was very well done, but individually I definitely liked some more than the others.

I just wasn't enjoying this. The stories weren't that interesting, and I didn't really care about the people.
