What a wonderful end to the series

after everything i enjoyed the ending.

i guess my one critique of this series is regarding the fact that ms. bardugo does a great job of setting further scenes and there is a lot of foreshadowing throughout the trilogy. my complaint would be that this development takes up a majority of the story so much so that the big reveals seem to happen in a tiny fraction of the time. The action happens so quickly and feels unsatisfactory because little time is describing these moments. like i get that im meant to know the details from before but the bigger moments feel brushed over since the foreshadowing went more into detail. like the fight scenes (the whole major setting is a world of war) feel left without detail at times.

also if anything had happened to mal i would have rioted. so happy to see true love is alive and well

Loved the whole concept of this world and the Grisha, but this book was such a drag to finish. The way it all ends with the Darkling was very anticlimactic, I expected and wanted a lot more that just *that*. Also the ending was very predictable and that's all I have to say about it. I'm not even mad, just disappointed. But on the plus side this whole trilogy has just made me appreciate Six of Crows even more.

Also, I can't wait for King of Scars now, Nikolai deserves so much more!!
