A wonderful message for us all. I think everyone should read this, not so much for her story but what she has to say about how we should be treating ourselves.

Loved the message but was a little bored with the way it was written.

Normally I never want to read about cancer, but currently someone close to me has it real bad, so I lately I've been in a place where it's on my mind, and knowing this ends happily, I picked it up. It is about the author's near-death experience when her body was ravaged with cancer, and how she was given a choice to come back, with the knowledge that her cancer would be gone. There are hospital records of her amazing recovery from a fatal state. The doctors couldn't believe that her tumors disappeared so fast.
It's comforting to read about an after-life experience. I also recommend Heaven is For Real.

I gave it only 2 stars because of the fluidity of the writing, not because I didn't like the message and story.
She had a near-death experience and went on to the other realm. I agree very much with her feelings and noticings of the after-life: Non-judgment, everyone is good, God isn't a "being" but a "state of being". These thoughts resonate with me.
She said she had a complete suspension of all previously held doctrine & dogma. She also says she doesn't feel the need to pray to an external God. And knows she is already One with the Universe. She says to embrace anything that makes you feel alive! Let yourself be you.
Here are some quotes from the book:
"I knew that the only purpose of life wa to be our self, live our truth, and be the love that we are."
"Everything that seemingly happens externally is occurring in in order to trigger something within us, to expand us and take us back to who we truly are."
"When we realize our magnificence and live in our true nature of love, we'll synchronistically attract the right teacher, book, or spiritual philosophy at the right time."
It will be interesting to hear the thoughts of my book club.
