I have loved Glennon for years and I'm thankful that though I've owned this book for a while, these last few months are when I finally cracked it open. I laughed. I cried. I discovered myself and renewed my hope in women, children, love, and humanity. The quick chapters perfectly fit into my busy day. Highly recommended for any woman (or human) who has been tamed but something feels not quite right, or anyone who has been told to ignore their Knowing. You're a GD cheetah.

Chapters are more like short stories about her life. Kind of all over the place in terms of when things take place. A little self righteous in places. Some parts make you reflect on yourself too

This is described as a memoir, so I had to manage my expectations while reading when it turned out to be a collection of essays instead. Glennon shares a lot of personal stories and encourages other people struggling or dealing with difficult situations to keep going. Her essays are thoughtful, reflective, and aware. I read this a few months ago, and am having trouble remembering more about my initial impressions.
