A very captivating interwoven true crime memoir. I didn’t necessarily understand the addition of the autobiographical elements but loved the authors writing style and detailed account of this time period nonetheless.

True crime isn’t my thing, but I wanted to give it a shot since I’m reading many books in the horror genre. It was unsatisfying for me to read 300 pages of facts that ultimately lead to nowhere. I respect and am impressed by Michelle’s dedication and thoroughness but I just don’t think this was the right story for me.

Author died during the writing/researching of this chilling book. She was only 46 years old. Sad that she shed light on the killer from her 7 years of crime sleuthing but died before the killer was identified.
