Richard Bach

3.95 AVERAGE

Bach's storytelling is light-hearted and easy to read. He scatters wonderful, profound advice on life throughout the storyline in small, simple and poetic phrases. It's a great read that will have you re-evaluating your take on life, and it will leave you feeling a little bit lighter.

I was loaned this book from a friend. He acquired it at a local book shop, and it simply appeared to him as he summited the staircase, because I believe it was something he needed, and it came to him. In a way, this book opens your mind to those types of occurrences and allows you to see them in a different, more understanding light.

The book is so introspective. The name feels deceiving and like you would expect it to be super religious. It purports ways to look at our world and our times differently. There are very few major/significant plot points other than the characters meeting. Everything else seems to be a conversation of "What if" on Tuesday afternoon.

Also in my top five favorites...may be a bit self-help-y or new-age-y for some, but for me it offers some perspective and a sure-fire attitude adjustment. Some of my favorite quotations are also from this book.
