Re-read, still a super great book. It's really touching and has very positive messages in it.
Big thoughts here- grab your highlighter and be ready for annotation. In my opinion this reaches far beyond Bach’s “Jonathan Livingston Seagull”. The story of a student and a master has been told over and over, but this is easily one of my favorites. Let the world live as it pleases, and live as you please. “Humbug on faith. Takes zero faith. What it takes is imagination.”
A few short years ago I would have given this a five-star rating. I was in LOVE with this book and read it again and again over many years' time. Since then my beliefs have changed drastically and I no longer believe the principles herein, but it's still a good, simple story. I like the characters.
