The story took forever to get to the point. From the prior books they were in a deep friendship that Belmont needed more than Sage.

Best one in the series! Belmont had depth and Sage is a queen. It took 4 books to get to a romance I was most invested in and I appreciate TB finally admitting that her male characters are incredibly codependent.

This whole series is unhinged. Fun, fast reads.

I had hoped this would be a 5-star because I was RABID to get Belmont and Sage's story, but it let me down a little bit in the completely ridiculously unbelievable "powerful man in town" forcing her parents into hard labor, then her, then Belmont, and all that weird shit and then he tried to marry her to fulfill a grudge? It was so unbelievable and strange without much sense of reality.

But the relationship between Bel and Sage was so sweet and also hot - the only negative with that was at the end when they got super weird about getting pregnant maybe? I actually cringed. But the rest of the book was good enough to offset those moments, so a 4-star review feels pretty solid.

Why does the cover of my copy have some quote from an idiotic person saying "Michaelangelo of dirty talk" ummm huh?????

I read that and thought damnn this gonna be good.

Okay it's good if you are a virgin who doesn't know anything about sex/intimacy/dirty talk and believes they'll die if they don't see the person they like. If you like that than you'll love this. Otherwise you'll be like are they 12? "I don't know if I can even think the word pussy *shudders in fear*" omg dude no. I didn't read the first in the series, didn't realize it was a series until now. Not gonna read rest.

The plot was kinda interesting. But felt kinda half baked. The ending?? What. Huh. Hmm. No.

I mean, I love Tessa Bailey but she doesn’t do deep well. Belmont is a weird character who just isn’t all that believable. Enjoyed the series a lot and glad I finished it.

I'm actually sad to be done with this series. Belmont and Sage are perfect for each other. I love Belmont's "origin story" of falling in a well. I did think their obsession with "not getting lost within each other" was monotonous. Overall, fantastic ending to a really cute series.
