I love how this author can write a whole book about seemingly nothing, and yet it's completely engrossing, can't stop reading. Wish StoryGraph had an option for "romantic" and "heartwarming".

Con is such a lovable character but seems so incredibly lost in the beginning, searching for himself, for meaning … yet even before he meets and falls in love with Matt, he is taking steps to carve out his own path.
Matt is more secure in himself but has perhaps settled a bit, not really hoping anymore for love, let alone a chance with the gorgeous actor he maybe has a bit of a crush on.
I loved the ‘boyfriend’ conversation; it’s a bit awkward and also really cute. They stumble into falling in love, but their connection feels very natural.
I liked the glimpses of Con’s life as an actor. The secondary characters were interesting and likable in their own right, especially Dave and Aisha.

From start to finish I loved this book. These two just gravitated towards each other. I loved that they were friends first.
Con was just a nieve young actor that didn't know any better. He was so innocent. The way Matt was able to calm him was so sweet. Matt was so level headed.
