This was cute and fun! A little extra cheesy at the beginning and very end and I could’ve done without the constant Marvel references, but it was an enjoyable, quick read.

Sara Desai has written a fun romantic comedy. Despite being a bit predictable at times, I enjoyed the story.

This is a story rich in family and culture. I love any story that does not have a cookie-cutter main character. Daisy was a smart, fun, intellectual, business-minded woman that was fun to watch evolve throughout the story.

This is a great quick read for anyone looking for a fun escape.

I will be watching for future releases from Desai.

I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley and the publisher. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

3,5 stars

Like a good Korean drama for me it had a million references to things I wanted to try after reading the book, from jalebi to dosas to dal to kukure masala munch. It was detailed and researched and well written. Very enjoyable read.

Cute tropey nonsense

2.5 stars rounding up to 3... it was okay and light, but left me wanting more.

I READ THIS ONE FIRST but I loved it
