I could never really accept the premise of this book -- it was just too far fetched for me. It also didn't match the characterization of Daisy, at least not how I perceived her. She's a smart and resourceful career woman, not a flighty and whimsical person. I enjoyed Daisy and Liam individually and as a couple, but the whole thing fell flat for me because of the premise.
I absolutely adored this book! I love a good childhood-friends to lovers story, especially when it's enemies to lovers.
It felt so good to read something that I'm represented in. Not only could I relate to Daisy's OCD need to plan and her obsession with Marvel, but I loved that I could relate to her family dynamics and the meals she'd have. Liam is such a heartfelt and raw character as well, and I love the chemistry between him and Daisy.
With an equal balance of spicy scenes and romantic ones, this book quickly became one of my favourites of the year!

*3.5 Stars*
Overall, this was a cute rom-com! Hit great tropes of fake dating, childhood friends to lovers, brother best friend, and second chance romance. I thought Liam and Daisy were both such great characters and I loved her family dynamic.
This book did have me a little bored at times and not very desperate to read it so I couldn’t possibly give it 4 or 5 stars but honestly it was cute and I’m not mad I did. I believe this was my first time reading a book with an Indian main character and I absolutely loved it. Especially thinking about their amazing wedding traditions. I loved that I kept having visuals of the Netflix show Never Have I Ever. I kept thinking of Daisy as the older cousin in it. So, I’m not disappointed I read this but I don’t think it intrigued me enough to read more from this author unless I found them for really cheap?

This book was really cute and the steamy scenes were great, but overall it was a middle of the road romance for me. I felt the story was a bit repetitive and the reason for Liam wanting the fake relationship was not my favorite storyline. I really enjoyed Daisy's family and how important they were to her and the story. The last act felt like it went on too long. Overall, it was cute and if you want to read it, I think it could be worth your time.
