People had told me that this book is creepy and I wasn't really expecting it to be but it really was!

I have to say the beginning and all the way up to when they landed on the moon was kind of boring but perked my interest with the different things that were happening that were not important but were building up the suspense.

The whole idea of space creeps me out and I think this further frightens me with the real stories being intertwined with this story.

I'm excited about discussing this with students today at book club. I think it will begin some good theories and thoughts.

I read this in my teens and it scared me to death. Maybe don't let your twelve year old read this, fourteen might be ok. I still think about it sometimes. The plot is bonkers. Why would they give away a ride in space for free? The characters are ok. The creepiness makes the story.

I was expecting so much more from this. I appreciated the backstory with all of the three kids, but then I felt like the actual time on the moon went by too quickly and wasn't really suspenseful. The ending was a bit anticlimatic for me and I just wasn't impressed unfortunately.

this was not it i was just bored the whole time

Stole this from my big sister and read it at 10 years old. All I remember being absolutely terrified but that’s about it

3.5 stars.
An okey book overall, but things became very intriguing and terrifying in the last 100 pages. And the very last chapter was completely unexpected and 5-star worthy.

WHAT THE HELL!?

This book will creep you out. Not in a "ghostly" way, but in a what-the-hell-is-lurking-on-the-moon way.
