Just to clarify, I never heard of Phil or Dan. Never. Ever. Really. I only use youtube for music, not for listening to people talk. I just spotted this book on my update feed on Goodreads, saw several people just rave about it, and also the title just sparked my interest, so I decided to see if I could find it, and I did find it!

What did I think about this book? Well, it was a really fun book, I laughed aloud quite a few times (my favourites would be the descriptions of their houses, the hamster part and the quiz about chair (though it didn't really match me, but oh well.)). The rest of this book is a colourful bundle of everything about Phil and Dan, from birth to where they are now. How they started their Youtube stuff, how they evolved from there, and how they became friends. It was really interesting and I feel like you don't really need to know them before you read this book. Everything about them is explained here, we even see some stills from their videos to photographs of them (or their hairstyles).

They also explain how to make Youtube videos, what to do and what not to do if you want to start. I liked that they added this, I am sure that people will be making use of that.

Will I be checking out Phil/Dan's videos after I read this one? Nope, I am still not interested in that side of Youtube, and I will stick to listening to music.

Would I recommend this book? Yes, even if you never heard of them before, this book is really funny and I enjoyed reading it and finding out about 2 guys who are apparently very popular.

This was honestly so much fun to look through and read. You get all kinds of weird and funny extras that really sets this book apart from others similar to it. I also listened to the audiobook, which was narrated by Dan and Phil themselves, while looking through the physical copy, and I must say that this is the best way to experience it in my opinion.

I really enjoyed this!!!! Dan and Phil are two of my favorite youtubers and I could not have asked for a better book from them!! The Amazing Book is not on Fire was not just another memoir, another book, it was THE book, THE memoir. When I read this I could just feel Dan's and Phil's personalities flowing through the words and pictures so vibrantly! One of the reasons I love Dan and Phil so much is because they're such a compatible, funny couple of guys, and you could sense that throughout all of their stories, fanfiction, pictures, and doodles. It really was like watching one of their collab videos, and that is what makes this book amazing, spectacular, because it was not fake, it was beautifully raw yet entertaining.;)

Danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil make a super creative collaboration. Don't like reading a lot? After every long passage is a short creative blurb/page. Their past and present all defined in this book. The things they do for this book! They go to Japan (which looks amazing) and describe their trip to Vegas. Fun, random, and perfect for fans of Dan and Phils.

Reread. My library had the audiobook version of this and I figured, since I neglected to properly state any kind of feelings when I read this the last time, why not reread it. Let me say, having the audiobook along side the actual book was a treat since they tried to explain what the pictures looked like. My overall feelings are still the same, I enjoy their content so this book felt like a warm hug, just amplified by being an audiobook.
