Bruh. So much happened in this damn book! I was stoked to get more history a the beginning! I’m hoping we see more of Alaric and the Selkies he was rescued by! I hope we get to see in those journals that the death fae on the old continent that told of how destruction had been wrought upon it! Lukas breaks my heart! Yvan breaks my heart! I’m glad most characters got to at least have a moment to smooch at the purple moon smooching festival! Courting thru tea is the cutest fucking thing. Xishlon Moon! I want more death fae content! They’re truly the coolest! Giant ravens! Ariel! Vogel is a nasty fuggin guy in every way! Dryads! Three! Wands! Prophecies! Oh my!

Honestly, I'm a huge fan of this saga but this book is basically unreadable, only around 15% of the book has something to do with the plot, the rest is basically secondary characters flirting/admitting their feelings for each other. It's so bad that it's ridiculous, I honestly can't believe that I've read a Laurie Forest's book and not a seedy fanfic of it. I really hope she's back to her normal writing for the Dryad's Storm because I won't be able to handle this again.
