This book series gets better and better as it goes. The final book is shaping up to be an EPIC conclusion that I am eagerly awaiting.

Almost no other book has had me gasping aloud at revelations, and crying out when something horrific happens to our characters.

I will say, it does fall into the fantasy trap of too many povs, but I ended up falling in love with every single one of them, so I forgive it.

Spoilers below:

I KNEW that there was no way they’d let the love triangle stand… all could be solved with polyamory… but instead it’s solved in death. My one big disappointment in this book/series.

I’m not giving this book 5 stars only because of the writing. I love the story and all the characters but the writing is so consuming. I skipped more than one chapter and I’m pretty sure half of the book was not 100% necessary.

Okay, so I cried so much with all of Tristan’s chapters, I love him and I love his arc. I’m also 100% still in love with Yvan, I like Lukas and I appreciate all he did but Yvan has my heart. I can’t wait for book 5 (and hopefully the last one).
