I like this series. It’s original and not the same old story rewritten. This is a great addition to the series. I can’t wait for the next book

I just absolutely love this series and this book made me so angry that I had to stop listening to it twice. Ugh. I was so good and I cannot wait for the final book.
I loved the world building in this series so so so so so much but omg this book was horrible. First it’s the fourth book and still no black witch powers? The whole book was just different chapters of different side characters falling in love and having sex and no plot. Also Killing the main love interest???? What?? The idea of the story is so good but the actual book does nothing at all with it. Super disappointing :( 1.5 stars because I’m nostalgic for the first book and it’s characters
Not only was this book unnecessarily long but it was the most boring of the series so far and ended on a cliff hanger
I’m not sure how I want to rate this book. On the one hand it did pick up in the end, but on the other I feel like 70% of this book was about who is crushing on who and them all hooking up on the moon party night. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a romance book lover, but when this is supposed to be a fantasy war torn world, 70% of romance just doesn’t make sense. And the whole kissing to share power thing is getting old.
I’m glad the love triangle doesn’t seem to be dragging out, but I honestly don’t know if I’ll continue the books or not.

So stressed. Aside from how long it took to get through all the moon festival points of view, this was intense.

I was really disappointed with this. The love scenes with the many characters felt cringe. The only good thing was that Lukas died but they should have just killed him off in the beginning of the book. Her whole love story with Lukas felt so yuck - more forced. Especially on their sealing night. That’s not romantic to me at all.
I feel like this whole book was mostly filler. Like the only notable things that happened was the Amaz falling, the necklace thing, and Elloren becoming more Dryad. But all these major plot points were so short and the consequences were suspended to the next book anyways.
The only love story that I really loved Trystans. I liked Tiernnys character but it was way too much - I’m beautiful but I hate it after also hating being ugly….
I think the most disappointing thing was how annoying Elloren became after all the growth she had experienced. It just felt selfish for her to want to save Lukas. I honestly thought at one point it would have been better if she just sacrificed herself.
