I just love Trisha Wolfe. Can’t find another author that compares when it comes to meshing dark romance with well researched psychology/ Mindhunter-vibes.

i don’t have much of a comment to make on this book. tik tok lied to me once again saying this was a romance between an fbi therapist and a series killer. i’m like ‘you have my attention because i’m still not over the mindfuck series so i will eat up any book that is similar or has a similar storyline’.

this definitely did not feel like a romance. the first 1/4 of the book yeah i can understand the connection between them but the rest of the book made me question if that ‘romance feeling’ between them even existed. i mean i know the hero is a mentally i’ll psychopath or something but going all the way to hold your ‘lover’ in a cell for days on end, drugging her, and watching her go through horrible back pain from her accident years ago is just not my type of romance.

i’m not sure how the second book plays out because i will not be reading it. if you were to read this book just know it’s not the cute obsession romance it is a dark twisted horror romance between two mentally fucked up people.

i don’t know about their sexual past but i know both of them were not virgins and the hero dated regularly before going to jail.

Фактично, це Аделіна, тільки гарно написана.
З цього міг би вийти непоганий трилер, якщо б вся ця хвора токсичність не була б тут так романтизована, і їхні стосунки були б показані більш реалістично.

This book has all types of mind games and I freaking love it and honestly Grayson is something else he kind of reminds me of John Kramer from saw when he makes people make their choice to their own demise but Grayson doesn’t really give them a choice and his intelligence is wickedly insane. London I love that Grayson is trying to peel back the layers of her memories and unleash what’s been hiding he whole time and I can’t wait to read the second part of the duet to see them really together.

Wtf did I just read?! This book was recommended to me as a romance but it’s definitely more of a psychological thriller with romance in it. The ending was loads better than the rest of the book. For most of the book I was bored but then the last 3/4 really picked up and had my heart racing!!
